Hue Woodson is an Assistant Professor of English at Tarrant County College in Fort Worth, TX.
He is a PhD (ABD) candidate in English at the University of Texas at Arlington. There, he specializes in Heidegger, contemporary and critical theory, the history of rhetoric and rhetorical theory, and hermeneutics and the philosophy of language. He is currently working on his dissertation focused on Heidegger and posthumanism.
He holds an M.A. in English from the University of North Texas. There, he specialized in early-modern British literature and Shakespeare.
He holds a Master of Theological Studies and a Master of Theology (ThM) from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian University. There, he specialized in the history of Christianity, New Testament studies, systematic theology, existential theology, and theological hermeneutics. His ThM thesis was “Ventures in Existential Theology: The Wesleyan Quadrilateral and the Heideggerian Lenses of John Macquarrie, Rudolf Bultmann, Paul Tillich, and Karl Rahner.”
He holds an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington. There, his thesis was “The Effectiveness of Classroom Seating Arrangements on Student Learning and Teacher Instruction.”
